Hand made, slow beer
The place where our brewery is located is called Stallhagen and have until modern times been part of Grelsby Kungsgård. Kungsgården mentioned first time in the 1300s, and became the 1540′s elevated to the status of Kungsladugård by the Swedish king Gustav Vasa. The premises has now become a brewery was built originally as barracks building for the Åland stationed Russian coastal artillery in the early last century.
The old building’s interiors are restored to creating a pleasant and friendly atmosphere to brew good beer. A visit to the Pub Stallhagen may include a guided tour including tasting and samples of some Åland delicacies. Lunch or dinner arrangements are also available. Stallhagen is many times awarded winner in Helsinki beer festival and other competitions for their first class quality beer. Hand made, slow beer.
