Östergård in eastern Simskäla is a traditional archipelago home originating from the 1800's. The genuine old farming environment makes for nice surroundings for all visitors to Stormskärs Conference & Inn. The property has been owned and run by the family since 1755. The family Lena & Mikael continues the tradition.

Stormskär offers newly renovated and cozy accommodation facilities. The kitchen offers fresh and traditional archipelagic meals using only the freshest and home grown products and of course fresh fish.

The house has been home to Åland's famous writer Anni Blomqvist. The most know books written by her include the novels about Stormskärs - Maja.
