Kongo Safari provides you with a different event and a guaranteed natural experience in the middle of the archipelago. All participants will really have the opportunity for being together, communicate and have a lot of fun.

Safari Immediate upon arrival in Ã…land the group will be met by our local safari guides. During the short transportation to the adventure they will instruct about the coming days program. Participants are supplied with all necessary clothes and equipment before the first part of the adventure; a few hours of paddling on the Kongo river.

After this first part of the program the group will reach Base-camp; a lovely sandy beach with an open fire, simple but comfortable huts, and an authentic African barbeque dinner. The dinner is served around the campfire accompanied by music and the surrounding nature. The night on the savannah gets long.

Conference and relax After breakfast the following day the group will be transported back to civilization and to a hotel with complete conference venues and a longed-for sauna and bath. The conference is concluded by a long and nice dinner with sunset and sea view.

The challenging conditions living on a small island far out in the archipelago has through all the years forced people to finding their own solutions to every day life. Conference and inspiration
The travel time to Åland is maximised by arranging an on-board conference. Perfect facilities and lunch is arranged with the Baltic sea outside with an inspiring view. The team is then welcomed in Mariehamn and it is time to change time – to the Viking era.

Vikilympics!
At the accommodation site the teambuilding activities will start. “Vikilympics� is a collection of competitions, which require physical effort and trick, but also requires communication, cooperation and team spirit and are based on the Nordic culture. The theme is based on the Olympic spirit “participation is more important than winning�.

Viking feast
As a grand final of the conference and program the group is being met under the tribal flag and ceremony in an authentic Viking village. Brisk but well behaved Vikings who care for that every member of your group receives the proper clothing and real Viking name. The final of the Vikilympics will take place under supervision of Viking Chief Hlödver. Later on a substantial farewell Viking feast will be served accompanied by a live music inviting to song and dance.

The archipelago mission is a unique and specially designed program for active groups, wishing to discover the Åland archipelago nature and environment in an exclusive and harmonic way. The program includes also an environmental and ecological policy where all possible transportation is by own energy and where all food and service are locally produced.

Cycling through the cultural landscape
The group is welcomed by our guides that will further instruct about the coming days program and adventure. Participants leave the luggage and are handled cycles and equipment for a first day on wheels through a fantastic landscape of cultural heritage. The first day is concluded at a camping site with a delicious dinner and comfortable cottages.

Kayak between the islands
Day two continues with a full day program on kayak. The tour, that also will include some survival training, will take the group on very beautiful surroundings and a open air lunch on a small outer island. Upon arrival in the afternoon, our guests are welcomed at a familiar bed and breakfast including sauna, dinner and very comfortable beds.

Trekking with a view
After breakfast, the group is gathered for the last active day that will include a long trekking tour through woods and forests. At lunch the group will reach one of the highest tops on Åland with a fantastic view over the archipelago and also seeing the goal of the mission. On the magic island of Silverskär waits a sauna, relax, and a complete three course dinner.

Day 1 - conference and activities
Once the group has arrived on �land and guests have checked-in a half day conference is planned.
After lunch exciting activities will start to take place. Depending on the group activities are carefully selected. However, the common theme is archipelago, water and teambuilding.
All activities will be carefully followed by our camera team although participants do not know the final aim.

Day 2 - activities and relax
After enjoying a nice buffet breakfast at the hotel another adventurous day of activities and program awaits. More funny and exciting activities are followed by the camera team and after coffee break participants will have the afternoon free.
In the hotel, there is a nice sauna and & relax department if somebody feels for it.
At 18:00 our guests are expected to be prepared and waiting with evening dresses and suits at the hotel.
Transport tonight will be a success � old American cars from the �50-60� will take our guests on a tour including a glass of champagne and finally reaching the venue for the Gala event. Red carpet, lights and more champagne is waiting. After finishing the cocktail our guests are brought to the dinner in the gala event room.
A complete dinner is served and during the dessert the gala main program will start. Nominations will be presented and short views are shown from the actors � our guests during the activities!
�Best female actor�, �Best movie�, �Best special effects�� everything and everybody will have their nominations. After presentations and compulsory speeches the party will continue with a genuine rockabilly band!

he origins are from the Viking era and includes ceremonies, shamans, music and a lot of food of different kind. The program is celebrated in an authentic Viking Village and all participants are dressed with authentic clothes.

After check in and departure from Helsinki at 8:30 you will be in Mariehamn already at 9:20. Comfortable bus transportation brings you to the Alandica conference centre and you can look forward to a complete conference day in Mariehamn. While participating in the conference you will also have the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic sea view from the meeting venue. A complete conference lunch is served in the nearby Hotel Arkipelag.

Alandica Kultur och Kongress
The newly build Alandica Kultur och Kongress was inaugurated in March 2009 invites with a fantastic architecture that rests on the unique archipelago landscape. Alandica is airy and harmonious in style and consists of three island-like buildings joined together by a glass-partitioned lobby. The main auditorium has 600 seats and the smaller auditorium with 200 seats. Alandica offers also seven meeting and teamwork rooms. The spacious and light lobby is a place for encounters and enjoying refreshments.

Afternoon for activities and alternatives
The afternoon permits time for activities or just some free time in Mariehamn. A complete close-up and farewell dinner is offered in the classic and sober restaurant Nautical in the western harbour just a five minutes stroll to the ferry terminal. After a good night sleep onboard with cabin and maritime breakfast the group arrives in Helsinki at 09:50 the next day. Alternatively return may be arranged by plane the same afternoon.
